Welcome to Ceres Bistro
Inspired by the Goddess of the Harvest, Ceres Bistro delights diners with a heavenly assortment of breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections, as well as dessert and bar creations. Ceres Bistro celebrates the seasons, delivering fresh ingredients and delicious cuisine seven days a week for casual, yet fine dining in a serene and sophisticated atmosphere. We also provide a late-night menu for the night owls in our bar.
The warm and inviting décor transcends time, with a magnificent stained-glass ceiling dome from the late 1800s overlooking seating for 90. Enjoy the soft curving booths and beautiful views to our outdoor gardens. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall brings the outside in and opens to the patio for dining or enjoying a cocktail at the outdoor bar.
A Chef with a Passion for the Pursuit of Excellence
As the Executive Chef of CERES, the warm and talented Anthony Gallotto uses exciting ingredients and unique cooking techniques discovered throughout his career. His passion for food began at Nashoba Valley Technical High School, where he studied Culinary Arts. From there, Anthony attended the prestigious Culinary Institute of America.
Prior to his current position at CERES, Anthony worked on Nantucket Island at the iconic White Elephant resort and at the historic Colonnade Hotel in Boston, where he studied under Chef Nicholas Calias, who continues to be a mentor and friend.
Chef Anthony leads by example and challenges his team to exceed expectations, and create innovative and imaginative flavor pairings. His passion for food and immaculate attention to presentation are reflected in his handcrafted dishes. His goal is to deliver a seamless, multi-layered dining experience with distinct preparations of only the season’s best and freshest offerings.
Private Parties at Ceres Bistro
Guests love the warm atmosphere of our bar and lounge, which features an oval bar and curved communal table. The walls are decorated with original Vanity Fair prints from the late 1800s. Finally, our executive boardroom is a lounge detailed with reclaimed antique oak wainscoting. This small conference room is just right for serious meetings.
